President’s Pen
Carol Wellen
And so we say goodbye…
The club year is over, and this is my last newsletter and my last President’s Pen. I know not everyone has the time to read the newsletters, but I want to thank all of you who take the time to read my little notes and give me your comments and feedback. It’s nice to know someone out there is reading this!
I really have enjoyed my time as President – it was more challenging than I expected, but it made me appreciate all the good this club does and can do. I want to thank my fellow board and committee members this year: a SINCERE thank you to Amy, Nikole, Kathy, Kay, Regina, Debbie, and Victoria. Without all of your help, the club would not have functioned!
I also want to thank Suzanne, Amy, Nikole and Angie for running for the 2009-10 board, and I’m sure you will do wonderful things with the club! I’m really looking forward to staying involved and running the Yard sale, and I hope to see a lot of you there in September!
Thanks again for a great year!
