Monthly Events

  • Meetings

    • FCPOM members meet both in-person and online for meetings on various topics with expert speakers. When meeting in-person we generally meet the first Wednesday of every month at 7pm. Each meeting provides a guest speaker or activity, along with social time.

    • Recent topics have included potty training, preschool and kindergarten prep, children's sleep habits, CPR training, and healthy eating. 

  • Meet Up Park Play Dates

    • We encourage our members to get together at local playgrounds or fun hot spots like Catoctin Creek or Fountain Rock Nature Centers, The Catoctin Zoo, or the great hiking trails up near Cunningham State Park. Feel free to post on the facebook page whenever your headed out!

Bi-Annual Consignment Sale

One of the highlights of joining the club is our ever-popular consignment sale, held each spring and fall. During this event, members gather to offer their goods to other families, who are thrilled to be able to purchase beautiful and well-cared-for items for their children. When you're buying clothing, shoes, toys and equipment for multiples, it's nice to know you can pass along your treasures and receive someone else's in return!

The sale is open to club members and outside sellers. Our sellers have the opportunity to earn a MINIMUM of 65%. The percentage earned is based on the number of hours you volunteer — the more you volunteer the higher your percentage. Plus, a bonus that other area consignment sales don't offer is that the percentage our club keeps is tax deductible because we are a non-profit organization. The bi-annual sales are our largest fundraisers and help to fund our annual events. We have a lot of fun hanging out with other parents and get an opportunity to earn some extra cash.
